It's our first blog post babyyy and we're kicking it off with a scorcher of a recipe!

What's the Secret to Mouthwatering Peri Peri Chicken Wings?  🐓 🔥

Get ready to tantalise your taste buds with the ultimate guide to making the perfect peri peri chicken wings, courtesy of the legend that is @bbqwithjake. These fiery, flavour-packed wings will have you begging for more. 

So, grab your apron and let's dive into the world of peri peri goodness!

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

Before you embark on this spicy adventure, make sure you have all the necessary ingredients. You'll need:

  • Chicken wings (obviously!)
  • The Peri Peri One from our hot sauce collection (if you use a different brand, you'll have 7 years bad luck......not really, but we won't be impressed!)
  • Seasoning of your choice
  • Salt and pepper

Step 2: Prep

Separate the drums and flats and season with your choice of flavours.

For extra crispy skin, add some corn flour to the bowl and mix in.

Step 3: Fire up the BBQ

Preheat your BBQ to 190 degrees. Once it's nice and hot, place the wings on the grill. Cook them for about 15-20 minutes, flipping occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through. Be prepared for the mouthwatering aroma that will fill the air!

Step 4: Get the garnishes ready

Whilst the chicken wings are doing their thing, sizzling away, it's time to start getting your garnishes ready.

Jake uses fresh red chillies, coriander and a whole lime. 

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

Finally, the moment you've been waiting for! Transfer those perfectly grilled chicken wings back in to a bowl and coat the Peri Peri hot sauce over the top. Shake that bowl like you're shaking a tail feather and pop it on to a plate.

Sprinkle chopped fresh chillies, coriander and lime wedges over the top and then finish it off with a drizzle of garlic and herb sauce.

Get your napkins ready because things are about to get messy!
